Women’s Health Consultations

AN INTEGRATED APPROACH TO UNDERSTANDING YOUR HEALTH, YOUR BODY, AND YOUR STORY

Rather than offering one-size-fits-all advice, these educational consultations are designed to help women better understand their reproductive health in a way that appreciates the value of their experience, history, and current needs.

Why Consultations?

Many women have questions that don't fit neatly into a routine doctor's visit.

Perhaps you've been told everything is "normal," but you still don't feel well.

Perhaps you're navigating hormonal changes, struggling with confusing cycles or debilitating PMS, or simply looking for a trusted place to ask thoughtful questions.

Whether you're navigating a new diagnosis, preparing for marriage, seeking to better understand your cycle, or wrestling with questions about women's health and fertility, consultations offer a space to slow down, ask better questions, and understand your body with greater confidence.

THE VALUE OF A WHAT WOMEN ARE CONSULTATION?

My work brings together bioethics, philosophy, theology, and women's health education to help women understand not only what is happening, but also why it matters. My goal is to create a space where scientific knowledge, careful ethical reasoning, and a rich understanding of womanhood come together to support thoughtful, informed decision-making

FRUSTRATED BY THE LACK OF

evidence-based, holistic women's health guidance

AS YOU NAVIGATE YOUR PARTICULAR HEALTH STRUGGLES?

I've heard it time and time again

“Why does medicine feel so fragmented?”

“Why is it so hard to find options that help me to understand my own health struggles without having to run around to 10 different providers and then put the pieces together myself?

After almost two decades of presenting on topics related to women’s health and body literacy, I am well aware that there is a lack of integrated formation and resources for women.

As someone who has studied at length the fertility of women and just how interconnected a woman’s hormonal health is to her overall health, I understand the need for better options for women.

As someone who struggled with the heartache of infertility for two years and was keenly aware that I was my best advocate within the medical sphere, I understand both the desire for options that connect to each other and the exhaustion + discouragement that comes when you aren’t offered this.

If you would like someone with experience and expertise to walk with you and point you in the right direction for help as you navigate various health challenges—endometriosis, PMOS, infertility, severe PMS, etc.—then a consultation is for you.

What A Consultation Includes

1.) LISTEN

We’ll begin by my listening to you so that I can understand your history, your goals, and your most pressing needs. The goal is for me to have the whole picture since your hormones, systems, and overall health do not exist in isolation.

2.) LEARN

I’ll share with you various components of women’s health, including the essential pieces of hormonal health as found within the field of restorative reproductive medicine so that you can be confident in your “why” before moving forward.

3.) LEAVE WITH A PLAN

You’ll receive practical next steps, recommended resources, and clarity on where to go from here. Having learned how all the pieces connect, you can choose with greater confidence based upon what your body is communicating.

What to Expect

Each consultation is personalized to your unique questions and health goals.

Together we'll:

  • Clarify the questions you're facing.

  • Explore relevant medical perspectives, all while respecting the gift of your faith and the value of ethics.

  • Identify trusted educational resources and options for how you can best care for yourself in your current life-season.

  • Discuss practical next steps for you to care for yourself, to continue learning, to make decisions from a place of informed decision-making.

Disclaimer: Consultations are educational in nature and are not medical care.

They do not establish a patient-provider relationship, provide diagnosis or treatment, or replace the advice of your physician or other licensed healthcare professional.
